Just January

This post will be mostly pictures because I'm writing it in February, which has been the month of crazy baby in McGary land. My mind has been turned to mush worrying and stressing about my littlest little. Nothing serious to report; just lots of crying that Mama has had a hard time interpreting.

At Taylor's two week checkup her doctor heard clicking in her hips so he referred us to an orthopedist. After two ultrasounds she was diagnosed with hip dysplasia. I thought she would have to wear a Pavlik harness but thankfully her case is very mild so she was given a diaper cast to wear 24/7 for at least three weeks. Her hips had already naturally improved from the first ultrasound to the second so even though the cast is annoying (doesn't fit in the car seat, induces blow outs, makes it hard to hold and cuddle her) the outlook was good. Oddly she sleeps just fine while wearing it.

Trip to the zoo

Since Kallie's grandma went home, she borrowed her friend Sam's grandma for the day. She very candidly confirmed it's not her grandma but she also didn't know her first name so she settled with "Gram".

Dancing for their favorite audience: Ethan

So we bought a double stroller and discovered we can fit not two, but THREE kids in it! There is actually enough space underneath the infant car seat for Jayda to sit. Sure, she can only see by peeking out the slits on the side but she loves it! It's like a little hiding spot.
