Ferocious February

Yep, I wondered at first if this is what it looks like and
Kallie confirmed it's Jesus Christ on the cross over a rainbow.

Kind of a random picture. I just like seeing them together on a regular day.

Dance party!

Caught him sleeping at his desk!

Valentine's dinner. Shrimp scampi, roasted potatoes, asparagus, strawberry cream soda to drink and chocolate covered strawberries. Of course the girls loved drinking out of real champagne glasses.

Revisiting his Spanish with an old mission companion

Made a chocolate cake for Girls Movie Night and the batter was SOOO yummy. I think I whipped it so much that if filled up the pan too high.

Yep, had to cut off the top.

Ok it's a tad goopy. I must have waited .25 seconds too long so the ganache didn't lovingly drip down the sides like a Pinterest picture. At least it tasted good!

Our friend Denae and her husband David decided to have their little boy's birthday party in Utah so their other family members could be there. Since it was a 5 day weekend for the kids (but our husbands still had to work) Morgan and I decided to mini road trip it down with them for the party!

Gavin, The Birthday Boy

The party was at an aquatic center so after dinner and dessert the kids got to go swimming. It was pretty funny keeping track of them. We found out the littles were supposed to take off their life jackets and have an adult with them to ride the slide. Aaand they had already ran past the people waiting in line, up the stairs and slid down by themselves.

We stayed with Denae at her in-law's house. The kids played with this train track for hours.

Kallie had a ukulele jam session with Denae's husband

The next day we took the kids to an aquarium

Got to meet a mermaid!

This is how mermaids go down the stairs.

We went into a big parakeet cage with a cup of bird food. Can you guess how my girls reacted?

All three of them screamed bloody murder when the birds were flying around.

Every other kid was fine of course...

Taylor ended up in our bed with a bad cough.
Love waking up next to this goober and watching her sleep.

Kallie decided to lie down next to Taylor and didn't even wake her up.

This is her happy place at open gym.

My girls love taking care of babies

Disney dance party with Hyrum and Gavin
(Jayda is carrying the younger one)

Kallie brought these drawings home from school. First of all, I had no clue they learn about presidents in kindergarten. Second of all, I could totally tell who they are!

The only picture Brad got his Daddy Daughter date night at Chick-Fil-A.

Luckily this particular morning Kallie and Jayda both had school because these two sickies could do nothing but sleep.  I honestly didn't know Brad took this picture until later.
