I got injured in the most random way ever.
I was washing the upstairs bedroom windows and there was a deflated air mattress on the floor right behind me.
As I knelt down to wash the bottom part of the window my shin landed on the plastic pump of the mattress I couldn't believe how much it hurt!
Cousin swim time!
Jayda got a nice goose egg on her forehead.
We don't exactly how it happened but it involved a bar stool falling over.

Kallie's 7th birthday
I've decided to let the kids have big friend parties on their even birthdays.
Since this was an odd we just celebrated with our little family, Grandpa & Grandma McGary.
We took the kids to Gravity Factory and then went out to eat for dinner.
We were so disappointed with our restaurant though. Our food took a LONG time to come and even though we were the only table for our waitress she never checked on us to refill waters or popcorn, which means we had one bowl of popcorn for 7 people that was supposed to last more than 45 minutes.
I felt so bad for Kallie because I wanted her birthday to be fun and special but it took so long for our food to come that the kids were hangry, tired and bored by the time it finally showed up.
This was the first and only time we've gone to a sit down restaurant for one of the kids' birthdays and we'll probably never do it again.
Other than that, her birthday was great!
Gravity Factory is an indoor trampoline park
Kallie loved her grandma gifts this year. She's been asking for a nightgown for a long time and one of her grandma's got her this Shimmer & Shine one. She's worn it every single night since.
Her other grandma taught her how to make these dolls, animals, pillows and blanket (and a backpack to carry it all). She keeps them in her bed every night.
Busting out the maternity exercise clothes
I like to record them every year or so during family scripture so I can remember what all the kids sounded like and acted at that time
I think Kallie drew all these pictures about our country after they had a Veteran's program at school one day...
Made a good sized stash of pumpkin puree this year!
My friend/neighbor had a craft night at her house and this is what I made (everyone made a little something different). This is probably the easiest craft I've ever made since the wood was already painted and the vinyl letters were cut out. So I pretty much stuck the words on and wrapped the string around it. But I love it! I've been trying to find a way to hold Christmas cards for years!

I just love the color of my girls' hair
Sneakster Taylor getting into the gum...of all different kinds
I finally cut off the rest of my super damaged hair from when the salon had to strip out the box color I had been using for a few years.
I guess this is what my natural hair color looks like now.
Luckily I feel it's turned a little brown as opposed to how I used to call it "dirty dishwater blonde"
